Hard Candy Review: 1st things 1st, a little history

hey Beauties!
Ok, so some of you may or may not be familiar with Hard Candy Cosmetics...

So, from some of my research I have determined this company was found in 1995, then sold in 1999, then was sold in duty free shops. Then in 2009, they made a BRILLIANT move and decided to make their product available to all of us beauties by selling it in non other then WalMart. Now, in 1995 the nail polish I believe was the only product and was brought to fame by Alicia Silverstone mentioning wearing it on The Late Show with David Letterman, then the owners appeared on the MTV show House of Style several times.
So, where are they today? Well, they are sold exclusively at WalMart and online through Hard Candy's Website. They range, at least in my experience, from around $4-$10 per product.

So, I own a few products from this company and I must say I am impressed! I love MOST of my products that I have bought from them. Now I have previously reviewed the Welcome Matte Mattifying Powder from them, but I am updating that review in this series....

Ok beauties, now to get to the reviews. Follow me for my reviews. I will be posting pretty regularly, so keep checking. Also, let me know in the comments what you think of your Hard Candy Products!

Review of Rimmel Lasting Foundation!!! Brides, Women, Anyone who Wants to Feel Beautiful!!!

This is after... wait for it...

How many hours have I worn this foundation... In the Florida heat and humidity???

Wanna know? Read my review...
OK, so this weekend I decided I would put my new Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation (I use the color 103 True Ivory) to the ultimate test! So, I applied my makeup you see above at 1030am Saturday morning, went to a surprise birthday party, and took this picture when I got home at... 730pm Saturday night.  That's right... 9 hours later.. and my foundation... AMAZING!
Now, let me bring some of you up to speed here. It's summertime here in Sunny Central Florida, meaning at 1030 in the morning, its a whopping 85 degrees with 90% humidity, it rains everyday at about 5 which proceeding that means it about 110 degrees with 100% humidity. The surprise party I went to... OUTSIDE... let me tell you... HOT doesn't even begin to describe it. So, moving on... at 730ish when I got home... I figured I will snap a pic, see what my foundation looks like... and I was so surprised... It hardly even budged, didn't melt or cake, and most off looked flawless...

So I WILL be wearing this at my wedding... thank you emilynoel83 (if you aren't following her on youtube and elsewhere, so do it... she's AMAziNG) for the recommendation....

My Hard Candy Score!

So, I scored this 4 items from Walmart. I am really excited to try them out. I am really iffy on the Split Personality Eyeshadow Duos from Hard Candy, but I have heard amazing things about the Sheer Envy Primer so I am excited about that... I will be reviewing shortly so you will know my opinions.
Thanks!

My New Favortie! My elf Fairy Lip Gloss!

OMG! This is my reach for, grab for, and die for lipgloss! This is elf’s hypershine lipgloss in Fairy… It gives me the perfect milky baby pink lips, looks amazing, SMELLS amazing, and most of all wears amazing!!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product… I got it at Big Lots, but I know it’s also available on eyeslipsface.com!!!!!!

e.l.f.'s Complexion Perfection... Love it or Hate it??

So, e.l.f. (eyes lips face) offers cosmetics for $1-5$ on average, and I must say… OH MY GOSH, I am in love with almost everything I have bought from them. But right now I will focus on the “Complexion Perfection” from the Studio Line ($3). I bought this at my local Target store, and according to the website and the packaging you are supposed to take a large face brush and swirl all the colors together and sweep them over your face. Simple enough so I took my Kubaki brush from Eco tools, did this, and swept it over my face after I applied my foundation (before my blush or anything) and it worked AMAZING! It helps even out the redness I experience on my cheeks and it helped make my skin just appear flawless. Another HUGE plus on this item, it ELIMINATES oil… just soaks it all up. I have EXTREMELY oily skin, and it just soaks it all up! AMAZING!!! So in conclusion, I guess I would say that this is item is most certainly a LOVE IT item, its in my bag and I am purchasing a back up just for my wedding!!!!!
LOVE IT!
